libbpp-phyl-dev software package provides Bio++ Phylogenetic library development files., you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbpp-phyl-dev
libbpp-phyl-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbpp-phyl-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbpp-phyl-dev *
You will get with libbpp-phyl-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
